About Us
The Wisdom Company is owned by Patty and Cecil O. Kemp Jr. Residents of Greater Nashville (Franklin), TN, the Kemps were married in 1970 and have two children and four grans!
Patty began her career with a large financial services company, while Cecil was a CPA with the international accounting and consulting firm that is now Deloitte Touche. He then became Chief Financial Officer and later, Chief Operating Officer of a publicly traded health care company.
In 1982 the Kemps founded The Wisdom Company and a nationally prominent financial and investment services group of companies that managed over $100,000,000 in assets for a nationwide customer-base of thousands of individuals and businesses. The Kemps sold that company in 1998, to devote their full attention and energy to expanding The Wisdom Company. It now includes a thriving publishing arm, a flourishing life, leadership, business and financial coaching/mentoring practice and the Kemps' speaking and teaching endeavors.
